Currently, I am working as a Principal Petroleum Geologist at Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan. I am leading a team of a Senior Geologist, Senior Chemist and six geologists, where my duties are, Undertaking the R&D program for oil & gas prospect evaluation for conventional as well as unconventional hydrocarbon resources in Pakistan, Evaluate basin prospectivity through conducting prioritized studies and research into critical uncertainties and new prospective areas, Generate value added data through analysis of selected samples of wells across the sedimentary basins of Pakistan present in PETCORE, Interpretation of geological and geochemical data and use of Basin Modeling tools, Producing and presenting geological maps and report writing and Liaison with upstream petroleum industry.

I offered my teaching services in BS, MS and Ph.D. programs at Bahria University Karachi Campus (almost 4.5years - 2016 to 2020). 

I did my Ph.D. in Geoscience with bachelor and master in the same subject; I finished my Ph.D. research (with 4.8/5 GPA) in November 2015 under the title “Geomodeling, Petrophysical Analysis and Reservoir Characterization of Teapot Dome Reservoir, Wyoming, USA”. I have strong geological background and good command on Schlumberger state-of-the-art packages Petrel, PetroMod, Techlog and Move. During my Ph.D. research, I assisted my supervisor, co-supervisor and other faculty staff for 3.5 years in conducting courses (Drilling and Formation Evaluation, Properties of Petroleum Reservoirs, Seismic Stratigraphy, Petrel and Techlog software training) and lab work.

I have 3.7 years of work experience with PetroServices GmbH, where I worked as a mud logger and have certifications related with advance mud logging and troubleshooting. I am also familiar with Drilling Operations, Wireline Logs and Safety measures. As well as I had done an internship with Oil and Gas Development Company Limited in Petrophysics and Reservoir department for a month.
