I have a very diversified Experience in sheet metal Industry. I have worked as a DESIGN Engineer in switchgear Industry and also worked in production using Both NC & CNC Machines. i have also performed duty as an ISO Auditor and have a sound knowledge of IMS.

Responsibilities as Production Engineer:

• Coordinate with the marketing manager, site engineers and other discipline engineers for reporting and scheduling for the projects.
• Responsible for detailed planning and scheduling for the complete duration of the project.
• Develop and implement procedures to successfully assemble and manufacture the products.
• Establishing productive dynamic working relationships with design (Both Electrical & Mechanical), Shop Floors and Marketing departments to ensure fault free & timely production of equipments.
• Estimating staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions.
• Coordination with electrical design to incorporate design inputs & alterations.

Responsibilities as Design Engineer:

• To make General Arrangement (GA) drawings as per customer specifications
• To make Assembly/ fabrication drawings for switchgear manufacturing and issue the same to fabrication shop and local suppliers.
• To verify that the manufactured/assembled equipment should be as per customer approved drawings.
• To upgrade the mechanical design of switchgear products for improvement in quality.
• Cost saving.

Responsibilities as Production Engineer:
 

• Coordinate with the marketing manager, site engineers and other discipline engineers for reporting and scheduling for the projects.
• Daily, Weekly & Monthly Issuance of Production Plan and strong follow up to achieve it.
• In process QC to remove faults during Fabrication.
• Daily issuance of plan to Paint department and to check the quality of Powder paint.
• Cost saving by good resource management and to give inputs to Design.
• Coordination with Mechanical design to incorporate design inputs & alterations.
• Estimating staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions.
• Coordinate with the marketing manager and Design engineers for planning of Projects in Pipeline.
• Implementation of QMS ISO 9001, 2015.
• Development of Bolted Design Power Distribution board.
• Development of Riveted Design Concealed Distribution board.
• Development of 11 KV VCB panel for both Wapda & private consumer.
• Maintenance (both preventive & corrective) of hydraulic bending, shearing machines & CNC Machines.
• Hands on experience of working with CNC Punching, CNC Laser cutting , NC Bending & NC Shearing machines.
