Junior Engineer Civil (Sep 2021~current)

Construction Supervision: 

• Supervised excavation, support work, concrete lining, backfill concrete, backfill, curtain and consolidation grouting of 23km Headrace Tunnel up to completion in accordance with approved design and quality standards.  
• Supervised excavation, support work, backfill concrete, backfill, contact and consolidation grouting of 3.7km penstock tunnels and stepped shafts up to completion in accordance with approved design and quality standards.
• Supervised backfill concrete of temporary Adits up to completion in accordance with approved design and quality standards.
• Supervised concrete lining and backfill grouting of permanent Adits in accordance with approved design and quality standards.
• Supervised structural and finishing works of 500kV Switchyard, Underground Powerhouse and Transformer Hall and Employer’s Colonies in accordance with approved design and quality standards.
• Supervised concrete lining and backfill grouting of GIL tunnel and twin tailrace tunnels up to completion in accordance with approved design and quality standards.
• Supervised structural concrete works of twin tailrace tunnel outlets up to completion in accordance with approved design and quality standards.
• Supervised construction of rigid pavement construction of 13.7km road of Powerhouse sector.
• Supervised concrete mix design testing for quality control and site testing for quality assurance.
• Assisted line managers in issuing Site Instructions, NCRs and letter relevant to technical and contractual issues pertaining to construction activities
• Carried out joint site visits with the Contractor and Client for identification and resolution of construction quality and scope issues. 

Progress Monitoring & Reporting:

• Coordinated with all departments to monitor the ongoing construction activities on daily basis, collecting & compiling the real time data regarding Contractor progress of works and QHSE compliance.
• Indexed the data received from team including departmental reports and photographs for data searching using dates and keywords 
• Calculated material/work quantities for monitoring of progress of ongoing activities using construction drawings
• Prepared Daily(1200+), Weekly(170+), Monthly(30+), Quarterly & Annual(3+) Progress Reports
• Calculated overall physical and financial progress of project using approved baseline and payment schedules for progress reporting including reports and project progress briefings. 
• Refined and enhanced drafts of Project completion reports

Design Review:

Reviewed drawings, construction schemes, schedules, letters etc. submitted by the Contractor pertaining to site activities.
