Fariha Abrar

Masters in Education, I am an internationally recognized Educator by the University of Cambridge. I am also an accredited Leader for Cambridge's Professional Development Qualification Programme, and a CAIE certified A level Instructor and Examiner. I am currently working towards my Ph.D. in Education. To enhance my English teaching skills, I have done various certifications which include being a certified Creative Writing Instructor by the Oxford University Press, and also TESOL via Greenwich University. 

My work experience revolves around teaching, training, learning, and development in educational institutes. Prior to being an English Language instructor at the Karachi Grammar School, I have taught Business Studies O and A levels, Business SAT in the Middle East, and O level English Language in Karachi. I also work with the British Council as an English Language Consultant and a Teachers' Trainer, and Bay View Academy as a Programme Leader for Teaching & Learning.

I enjoy participating in the wider life of school. I consciously involve myself in counseling, and focus on the emotional and physical well being of my pupils. I aim to put an impact on the lives of the individuals who I come across in general - evolving them into being the best versions of themselves, scaffolding them to the flight of stairs apt for them, and turning them into visionaries. 

I would like to consider myself to be a nature and fitness enthusiast. In my quiet time, I indulge in reading and writing, whenever time allows. 

I aspire to be a leader in the Education industry, where I may be able to inspire and educate the entire youth of my country, and equip them with the right skill set to enable them to represent our nation internationally with ability and confidence.
