*** Remained an essential part of one of the biggest Electrical Power Project in Pakistan named as             “ TP - 1000 “ (Transmission Package 1000 MVar) by     K-Electric, which has given a new lifeline to the city of Lights Karachi, Pakistan. 
The Project TP - 1000 is approximately worth of 490 million USD.

Executed 05 x Sub Stations which with Voltage levels of 220kV & 132 kV. Among them 3 x sub stations were extension Projects while rest were new. Have an honour for the closure of whole TP - 1000 project.

During the Project I have got an experience on execution and design review of MEP, and carried out testing and design review of electrical equipment such as Power and Auto Transformers 40 MVA & 250 MVA respectively.
Carried out construction supervision along with the civil design review in terms electrical equipment requirements.

Implementation of DuPont safetySOPs before commencement of work. HSEQ was kept as the backbone of the project and by the grace of ALLAH the said project was completed with 0 LTI.

The Contractors were:

1. Siemens AG, Germany 🇩🇪 
2. Siemens, Pakistan 🇵🇰 
3. Shanghai Electric, China 🇨🇳

Another milestone of my life was to work with Saudi Electricity ⚡️ Company. There I got my hands on 380kV BPS (Bulk Power Supply) Al - Kharj , KSA. The aim to build this Project is to make an other industrial hub at Al Kharj.

Project Development Manager K Electrical 2016 to 2022.
Key Functions:

• Managing & supervising contactors during whole scope i.e. engineering, procurement & construction.
• Conducting project progress review meetings & conflicts resolution between Contractors & Consultant.
• Performing Project Risk Management by identifying the risks, performing the quantitative & qualitative risk analysis and then planning & implementing the corresponding risk responses.
• Management of project stakeholders (Design consultants, OEMs, Contractors & Local authorities); by effectively planning, managing & monitoring the stakeholder’s engagement.
• QA/QC inspections.
• Execution supervision of ETC, MEP at site
• Complete supervision of 05 Grid Stations out of which 1 x Grid Station is 220kV extension, 2 x Grid Stations (132kV) are extension Grids while 2 x Grid Stations are New 132kV.
• The work scope comprises of ETC of all electrical equipment, which includes Auto and Power Transformer ETC, 132kV & 220kV GIS ETC, Power & Control Cables laying and testing.
• Earthing system intermingle in existing Grids where as new Earth system in new Grids.
• Arrangement of shutdowns for the augmentation of new system into old.
• Design review of Primary engineering like General layout, Equipment layout, etc.
• Technical review of various electrical equipment like EHV/HV switchgear (220kV GIS, 132kV GIS, 132kV AIS), Transformers, Capacitor Banks, MV switchgear, LV AC/DC panels, MEP works according to project specifications.
• Implementation of HSEQ related activities at sites.
• Responsible for construction related activities as per project schedule.
• Rectification of Discrepancies and Punch List Points at Project TP – 1000.

Project Engineer June 2015 to December 2015 Saudi Arabia SAUDI ENGG GROUP INTERNATIONAL.

This project is created to supply power to AL-KHARJ industrial city by constructing a new (380/132/33/13.8 KV) BSP (Bulk supply power) including complete protection, metering, control, communication system. This project is equipped with SAS (Substation automation system) and is remotely controlled by ECC (Energy control Centre), RIYADH, through SCADA.

My job description includes:

• DEW Point Test for 380 KV GIS. 
• Testing and commissioning of three 500 MVA SGT. 
• Testing and commissioning of three 100 MVA GT & three 67MVA GT. 
• Installation of 2 x 40 MVAR Shunt Reactors. 
• Panels Commissioning and testing for 380/132/33/13.8 KV. 
• Scheme checking of above mentioned system. 
• SAS (Substation automation system).
• Checking of RFI & FAT reports.
• Ensure compliance of H & S.
• Ensure work is executed by the Contractor is according to contract specifications, approved design, agreed procedures & methods.

Manager Electrical Power LV/MV 2008 to 2015 

Key Features:

⦁ Under Ground high voltage power cable laying and Termination of 132kv (1000 sq.mm).
⦁ 0.8kM long, testing 132kV Underground Cable circuits (Direct Buried).
⦁ Provide expert technical input and guidance on HV, LV and Fiber Optic cables and systems.
⦁ Prepare feasibility / conceptual designs for cabling infrastructure.
⦁ Laying of Optical fiber cable 12 strands 5 km long (Direct buried).
