Dr. Tahir Munir Butt

DR. TAHIR MUNIR BUTT (HEC Ph.D. Approved Supervisor) holds a PhD in Rural Development specialized in Agricultural Extension Education from China Agricultural University Beijing-China. He has done his undergraduate (graduate and master) in the subject of Agricultural Extension Education from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Pakistan. Presently, he is serving permanent employee and Incharge-Department of Agricultural Extension and Department of Sociology; Further, Coordinator of B.Ed Program & Short Training Courses at the University of Agriculture, Okara Campus, Punjab. Previously, he served as Deputy District Officer (Extension), Agriculture Officer (Extension Wing) of Punjab Agriculture Department. He also served as a Program Officer in the UNICEF project at Faisalabad, Pakistan and as Consultant/Advisor in the multidimensional NGOs for project design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. He also served as a Leader and Evaluator in Cultural Exchange Trips (CET), Beijing China. Dr. Tahir has published two books on Agricultural Extension and Rural Development. He has published a good number of research articles in the quality of International and National Journals. Dr. Tahir also serves on different boards, committee and reviewer in the International and National Organizations.
