I wish to apply for the post of the female physiotherapist in the hospital. Please find enclosed a copy of my CV. I am a 2023 graduate from Riphah International University Islamabad where I achieved a honours DPT degree with clinical distinction. During my physiotherapy degree, I was fortunate to gain good manual therapy experience in Cantonment General Hospital Rawalpindi when I worked in the High Dependency Unit, neurosurgical ICU along with my involvement in the weekly pulmonary rehabilitation programme. During my physiotherapy degree I also had the opportunity to manage a similar patient population to that at the Heal and smile clinic Islamabad, and KR VitaFit (Organic You) SMC private limited which is a fitness company which works on helping  people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice, keeps them safe and strong.
My post qualification experience includes IIMCT Pakistan Railways Hospital Rawalpindi where I was responsible for the rotation and on-call physiotherapy services during my time there. I also gained experience in a private practice and instructed a weekly and monthly pilates course. I recently completed a 3 month course is Board Certification in Manual Therapy.

I thoroughly enjoy working in a hospital setting and I am keen to gain further experience in this area. I would appreciate your consideration of my application and I am available for interview at your convenience.

DPT, BCMT 

Traditional physical therapy focuses more on managing and treating the symptoms of the disease process, while manual therapy focuses more on performing biomechanical, tissue-based examination to identify the cause of the disease process.
