and gathering documentary evidence for shipping cases.
Vetting/opinion in the tender documents under the express provision of
PPRA 2004 particularly in international procurement likely Bunker, Dry
Docking, Ship Stores, ERP, Ship – Sale and Purchase.
Interpretation of legal obligation/principles, requirements that are
encountered in everyday shipping life.
Provides legal assistance to Shipping Master, Government Shipping Office,
Mercantile Marine Deptt and Director General Ports & Shipping in respect of
queries with regards to marine regulations, international
conventions/protocols, First Right of Refusal and Flag Preference under
mandatory notifications, in Marine Merchant Policy and Merchant Shipping
Ordinance, 2001.
Defending/pleading the marine cases on behalf of the Subsidiary Companies
of PNSC before the respective Courts.
Exclusively dealing all queries raised by Insurance & Claims deptt and
providing technical assistance/advice.

interests of shipowner.
Underwriting in respect of Protection & Indemnity cover (P&I Clubs) through
brokers and Hull & Machinery coverage from Hull underwriter.
Handled Complex shipping commercial disputes arising out in Contract of
Affrieghtment with the refineries.
Attend annual & mid term P&I club renewal meetings in London and Dubai
respectively and H&M renewal meeting with Reinsurance brokers in London
and also played vital role in facultative reinsurance arrangement with local
insurer.
Extensive working experience with regards to admiralty law particularly ship
arresting in different jurisdiction.
Dealing law suits arising from cargo claim at local/foreign jurisdiction. Review
the claim/loss Notices receives from the Cargo Insurer/recovery agents and
liaise with the P&I club,
