About Azmat Raja:

I am a Chartered Accountant with more than 12 years experience of leading finance and accounting functions. I believe in continuous learning and adding value.

My 12 years of experience started with KPMG. Afterwards, I joined a top notch Travel and Tourism Company in Pakistan. Currently, I'm part of the finance and accounting functions of a premium educational university (NUST) in Pakistan.

I believe in win-win and simple solutions to challenges. I enjoy exploring and deriving IT based automated solutions.

My core strength is my interpersonal skills. Further, I enjoy leading and keeping my team motivated. I strongly believe in collective wisdom.

My functional skills include an excellent command on Excel, polished communication skills, financial analysis, financial reporting, and superb command on secretarial matters.

My obsession is planning and strategic decision making.

Experience

Currently Working as Deputy Director Finance in NUST Islamabad for last 6 years. I am responsible for investments, treasury management, payments and budget.

Before that i was working as Manager Finance in southern group and before southern i was in KPMG Islamabad performing audit various organizations
