Major Responsibilities:

Supervising the overall school bus transportation and to serve as primary point of contact for the parent community.
Responsible to manage the maximum use of the available fleet, organizing route plans and trip allocation.
Actively collaborate with School Administrative team to manage all activities to the satisfaction of school management.
Manage effective communication skills with the parent and to address all parental concerns.
Perform daily cash receipts and deposits; establish and maintain cash controls and also ensure timely and accurate remittances to bank
Follow up with parents on fee payment defaulters and ensure zero outstanding before end of every term
Maintain data base of drivers with expiry dates of documents (Passport, Visa, Permits, etc)
Prepare payroll and coordinate with HR Officer for verification of data
Coordinate with Transport Foreman for updating the bus.

Heavy Bus Driver/ Supervisor:

Main Activities:

Operate the school bus in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
Perform minor maintenance duties such as changing the oil.
Clean the bus as scheduled and/or required.
Ensure the bus is safely and securely stored.
Advise the Senior Administrative Officer of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
Maintain schedules and maintain order on the School Bus Main Activities.
Pick up and deliver students as per a set schedule.
Take attendance on the school bus.
Ensure students are aware of rules and responsibilities as passengers.
Maintain order and discipline on the School bus.
Make note of any behavioral or disciplinary problems.
