Qualified and Experienced Medical Physicist with more than 17 years experience at different renowned Radiotherapy and nuclear Medicine Hospitals in Pakistan. Currently working as Medical Physicist after succesful completion of PhD (Dr. rer. nat) from FB Physik. He was affiliated with Prof. Dr. Parak’s AG Biophotonik group in the Faculty of Physics, University of Marburg Germany since October 2014 till Sep 2018. Prof. Parak’s research group, is a renowned research group in the field of Nanobiotechnology. My PhD research mainly focuses on synthesis, development, stabilization, reliability and integrity of different types of nanoparticles; the purposeful functionalization and characterization of the physico-chemical properties of the nanoparticles; and the efficient applications of these nanoparticles in the field of biotechnology and medicince for diagnosis and treatment. Skilled in 3D Radiationtherapy planning, IMRT, VMAT, ICBRT, Brachytherapy, Health Physics/Medical Physics Radiation Safety, IMRT Nanomaterials synthesis (QDs, Magnetic and plasmonic NPs) and their functionalization. very good team player.

I been involved in the commissioning, testing, validation of two Treatment Planning Systems, i.e. Varian Eclipse ver 15.5 and Elekta Monaco version 5.15 to 5.51 and three radiotherapy treatment machines Varian CLINAC_IX, ELEKTA Inifinity with Agility head (micro MLC 160leaves) and Varain Halcyon He also developed protocols and evolved the SOPs for radiotherapy CT-Simulation. I have perfectly played a vital role as young Medical Physicist to overcome the acute shortage of skilled human resource in the institute. I worked day and night to commission, accept and calibrate new Linear accelerators followed by developing, evolving and validating techniques to utilize resources to maximum extent. During my current affiliation with KIRAN, I autodidactic himself for diverse and advanced technical skills in the field of radiation oncology, e.g. 3D conformal, IMRT, VMAT, and HDR Intracavitary Brachytherapy and patient Specific QA using Octavius4D 1500 Detector array and portal dosimetry as well. In addition to enhancing my skills were in continuous consultation with other team mates, e.g Radiation Oncologists and radiotherapy technologists to evolve the SOPs for treatment of radiotherapy in better way than previous for the benefit of cancer patients specially to deliver the services at affordable cost. KIRAN hospital is the only centre in Pakistan where 2 different vendors, i.e. Varian & Elekta along with complete radiotherapy solutions are utilized in full capacity there is no such example in whole country and it has been done so efficiently without any foreign training. Halcyon machine is first of its kind in Pakistan to be in operation with full capacity. I havve evolve and organize the workflow from CT simulation to completion of radiotherapy course of treatment. I have played a key role in organizing various events specially IDMP-2020, I have been an active researcher and co-authored various peer reviewed research articles and papers with more than 800 citations the highest number by any Medical Physicist in Pakistan.
