04/2023 – Todate As Cost Manger, main responsibilities include:
- Interfacing and effective communication withing the team and, where required, the Customer NEOM, Proponent, Contractors and other Consultants, at all project stages.
- NEOM Policies and Procedures when necessary, offers support in comprehending and interpreting and makes sure that office operations adhere to policy guidelines and standards.
- Management Reporting working effectively within a Project Control Team for the Weekly Flash Report, Monthly Dashboard, Cost and Commitment Report, Critical Items Action Management, Change Management.
- Post Contract Cost Variances, change control process, dealing effectively with where applicable.
- Reports and Presentations to senior management and Client (NEOM) on project cost performance, deep dive highlighting key metrics, trends / Early Warning Notices (EWNs) and areas of concern.
- Founding Board (FB) Budget Data for the Annual Budget and each rolling forecast in close collaboration with Core Team Financial Planning, schedule, process, templates, consolidation, comments and presentations.
- Contracts and procurement (C&P) to coordinate with team to ensure the cost control team is aware of procurement strategies.
- To independently create and distribute written responses that are appropriate, as well as to receive, screen, assess, and decide what response is appropriate for each written correspondence that is received.
- Director's or Executive's main point of contact for any inquiries; I also conduct independent research, rank incoming concerns, and decide on the best course of action, referral, and/or response.
- Administrative support to manage and plans the daily tasks of the employees in the office, including assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing tasks.
- In order to validate construction cost estimates at different phases of design and construction, contractors and third-party quantity surveyors are engaged and managed as part of the cost control process.
- Special reports and presentations influence on NEOM as a whole with possible cost and schedule impact for the Directors and Executives, some of which might have an (for example: New Developments related to Wind and Seismic and Crack Width Criteria and Primrose species in the area).
- Reviews and Approves Transactions when assigned, and advises the Director or Executive on the best course of action. When necessary, offers key coordination and consultation regarding the hiring of key executives.
