Arslan Ahmed

I am a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, responsible for designing and implementing M&E systems to track progress and identify areas for improvement. I collect and analyze data, and present findings to key stakeholders to inform decision-making. I develop M&E frameworks, tools, and indicators, manage data collection and analysis processes, and report on project progress and impact. Additionally, I identify capacity-building needs and provide training to staff and partners to improve M&E practices. As an M&E Officer, I have excellent analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. My role is critical in ensuring that projects or programs achieve their intended outcomes and make a positive impact on the communities they serve.

I have over 3 years of experience working in various roles across multiple sectors. I started my career as an Admin & Finance Officer in a UNDP-funded project, where I was responsible for financial management and administrative duties from 2019 to 2021. After that, I joined a government-funded project as an M&E Officer, where I currently work to ensure efficient project implementation and evaluation.

Aside from my work as an M&E Officer, I am also a Design Thinking Expert for startups, which involves providing guidance to startup companies to develop innovative solutions using design thinking methodologies since 2020. Additionally, I serve as a Mentor and Trainer for startups, where I help young entrepreneurs to develop their business strategies and enhance their leadership and management skills.

Overall, my experience has equipped me with strong financial management, project implementation, and evaluation skills, as well as expertise in design thinking and mentorship for startup companies.

I earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which provided me with a strong foundation in programming, algorithms, data structures, and computer systems. During my studies, I also gained experience in project management through coursework and group projects. I learned about project planning and execution, risk management, stakeholder management, and team management. This education in computer science and project management has helped me to develop the skills needed to effectively manage projects in the field of computer science. Overall, my education in computer science and project management has equipped me with the technical and managerial skills needed to succeed in managing important projects.
