Key Responsibilities: Verify surface and paint-defects to be removed before starts of surface preparations. Monitor weather condition for surface preparation and paint application. Execute painting/coating inspection work as per company project inspection test plan. Giving adequate training and advises to blasters ,painters .foreman and supervisor to improve quality on regular basis. Monitor performance of the blasters and painters. Responsible for incoming paining material inspection to meet the project specifications. Regular monitoring and reviewing of calibration of equipment and test instruments and maintaining Records. Preservation & Inspection of painting Consumables as per Project Preservation Procedure. Ensure dry film thickness as per specifications and standards. Ensure traceability of paint and inspection data for QA/QC dossiers. Ensure all coating & painting operations comply with HSE procedures. Ensure use of proper PPE during blasting and painting. Inspect and ensure blasting and painting tools (hoses, guns, compressors, and mixers) are clean and fit for use. Train and guide painters and blasters regarding proper coating application and quality expectations.
